Context

Infima Technologies was a Stanford University spinoff building a prediction service for the mortgage-backed securities market. Its customers were traditional financial institutions, so the product had to read as credible and trustworthy to buyers used to established market-data vendors rather than startups.

Prediction platform

The platform presented pool-level prepayment forecasts alongside realized history for a given cohort. Exploratory work on a full redesign of the web application’s design and user experience began as part of the rebrand, bringing the product in line with the new identity.

Brand identity

The new identity was built to convey credibility and trust to traditional financial customers. The logo mark draws on Roman columns, built structures, mathematics, and generative AI, and the warm palette was chosen to stand apart from both fintech and traditional finance.

Developer site, marketing site, and internal tooling

A developer documentation site built with Redoc, covering authentication and the prediction, pool, and cohort APIs. Alongside it, a marketing site and an internal authentication tool.

This work was done by a CedarVane co-founder before the company was founded.
